Any aspiring shutterbugs with an interest in forestry should consider joining the Sustainable Forestry Initiative’s 2013 Photo Contest.
SFI, the country’s leading forest-certification system, is looking for entries in six categories: Biodiversity, Community, SFI-labeled Products, Conservation, Scenic Forests and Harvesting, with the photos for the last three categories only eligible if they were taken on SFI-certified land.
Anyone can enter, and the deadline for submissions is April 5. The winner in each category will receive a $300 gift card.
Photos can be submitted at SFIphotos@sfiprogram.org.
Go to the 2013 Contest page for all the rules and for more information.
